The Hazaras of Pakistan, numbering approximately 271,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnic group of Turko-Mongol origins that emerged in Central Asia during the 14th century. They are an Indigenous people in the Aimaq people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hazaragi and their primary religion is Shia Islam.
