The Kalmyk-Oirats of Kyrgyzstan, numbering approximately 8,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Kyrgyzstan; a dialect subgroup of Kalmyk-Oirat (xal). They are an Diaspora people, in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Kalmyk-Oirat.
