The Tsakhur of Azerbaijan

The Tsakhur of Azerbaijan, numbering approximately 20,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Lezgin sub-ethnic group of northern Azerbaijan and southern Dagestan and can also be known as Caxur. They are an Indigenous people, in the Caucasus people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Tsakhur.
