The Tarunggare of Indonesia

The Tarunggare of Indonesia, numbering approximately 750 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Papuan ethnolinguistic community of the Cenderawasih Bay region of Papua, Indonesia. Also known as the Tunggare people, they maintain a distinct identity rooted in coastal and riverine settlements, customary lands, and regional traditions. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Tunggare is their primary language.
