The Gresi of Indonesia

The Gresi of Indonesia, numbering approximately 4,100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous Papuan people of Jayapura Regency, centered in villages west of Lake Sentani, whose traditional Gresi language is closely related to Kemtuik. They mostly adhere to Animism and Indonesian is their primary language.

The Gresi are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
