The Tidorese of Indonesia, numbering approximately 47,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Indonesia (Maluku), north Maluku, Tidore, Maitara, Mare, north half of Moti Islands; Halmahera west coast areas . They are an Indigenous people, in the Maluku-Northern people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Tidore.
