They are an ethnolinguistic community of Tanzania, Singida region, Iramba and Singida Rural districts, north central, south of Singida, west of Wembere River They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Tanzania people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Nyaturu.
