The Tong of Laos

The Tong of Laos, numbering approximately 17,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Laos and can also be known as Hatong, Lao Theung (Upland), Ong, Lower Ta Oi, Chatong. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Ong.
