The Chut of Laos

The Chut of Laos, numbering approximately 1,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are one of three dialects of Chug (scb), a language of Vietnam and can also be known as May, Lao Theung (Upland), Sach, Ruc. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Chut.
