The Lanten of Laos, numbering approximately 6,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an indigenous Yao-Mien people descended from migrants from China and settled in northern Laos, known for indigo-dyed dress and handmade bamboo paper used for religious texts They are an Indigenous people, with Lanten as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Yao-Mien people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Kim Mun is their primary language.
