The Akha of Laos, numbering approximately 113,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Laos and can also be known as Akha: Pouly, Kophe, Nugui, Luma, Lylo, Oma, Nutchi, Botche, Lao Soung (Highland), Chapo, Kopien. They are an Indigenous people, in the Hani people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Akha.
