The Iban of Brunei

The Iban of Brunei, numbering approximately 24,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Dayak Laut people who migrated from Sarawak into Brunei just before World War II seeking new land, living in communal longhouses that could be extended to welcome newcomers, with a warrior culture once centered on headhunting until the early 1900s. They mostly adhere to Animism and Iban is their primary language.
