They are one of four dialect subgroups of Upper Kinabatangan (dmg), a language of Malaysia They are an Indigenous people, in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Kinabatangan, Upper.
