The Nanti of Peru

The Nanti of Peru, numbering approximately 550 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a subtribe of the Machiguenga, an Arawakan Amerindian group living in the Upper Amazon basin of southeastern Peru and can also be known as Kugapakori, Nanti, Kugapakori, Cogapacori. They are an Indigenous people, in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Nanti.
