They are a linguistic subgroup of the Quechua people indigenous to the Andean highlands of southwestern Bolivia. They are an Indigenous people, in the Quechua people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Quechua, South Bolivian.
