The Chiquitanos of Bolivia

The Chiquitanos of Bolivia, numbering approximately 210,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous people of eastern Bolivia. The Chiquitanos are one of the largest lowland indigenous groups in Bolivia and have a rich cultural and historical heritage shaped by centuries of interaction with Jesuit missionaries and colonial forces and can also be known as Tarapecosi, Chiquito. They are an Indigenous people, in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
