The Chacobo of Bolivia

The Chacobo of Bolivia, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a southern Pano people of Bolivia's northern Amazon forced from land near Lake Rogaguado during the early-1900s rubber boom, suffering disease from rubber tappers before first contact in 1953, then granted in 1965 under a tenth of their ancestral land. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Chácobo is their primary language.
