The Bare of Brazil, numbering approximately 7,400 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of the subdivisions of the Barasana people—a Tucanoan-speaking indigenous group located in the northwest Amazon, especially in Colombia. They are an Indigenous people, in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Nhengatu.
