The Guajibo of Venezuela

The Guajibo of Venezuela, numbering approximately 12,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are traditionally nomadic hunter-gatherer-fishers of the Orinoco River savannas shared with Colombia, organized into bands under hereditary leaders and historically dependent on armadillo as their most important food source. They mostly adhere to Folk Catholicism and Guahibo is their primary language.
