The Awa-Cuaiquer of Colombia

The Awa-Cuaiquer of Colombia, numbering approximately 15,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous Awá people of the humid forests of southern Colombia along the Ecuador border whose identity is rooted in the Awapit language, rainforest lifeways, and a shared transborder heritage with Awá communities in Ecuador.
