The Andoque of Colombia, numbering approximately 475 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an Indigenous people of the Caquetá and Aduche river region of the Colombian Amazon whose language is a linguistic isolate and whose identity, known as “People of the Axe,” survived the devastating rubber-era genocide They are an Indigenous people, with Andoque as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Spanish.
