They are an ethnolinguistic community of Zimbabwe; a dialect subgroup of Tonga (Zambia) (toi) and can also be known as Leya, We, Chitonga, Tonga, Batonga, Toka, Batonga, Zambezi Dialects: Chitonga. They are an Diaspora people, in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Tonga (Zambia).
