The Damara of Namibia, numbering approximately 153,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Namibia; a dialect subgroup of Khoekhoe (naq) and can also be known as Khoekhoegowab, Bergdamara, Nama, Dama, Bergdama. They are an Indigenous people, in the Khoisan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Khoekhoe.
