The Sakalava of Madagascar, numbering approximately 2,245,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Malagasy ethnic group indigenous to the western and northwest regions of Madagascar . They are an Indigenous people, in the Malagasy people cluster of the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Malagasy, Sakalava.
