The Herero of Botswana, numbering approximately 42,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are Bantu pastoralists descended from survivors of the German colonial genocide against the Herero and Nama in Namibia between 1904 and 1908, resettled across the border with lasting ties to their ancestral homeland. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Herero is their primary language.
