The Herero of Angola

The Herero of Angola, numbering approximately 130,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Bantu cattle-herding people related to the Himba of the Kaokoveld spanning Angola and Namibia, most of whose kin were killed in German colonial forces' 1904-1908 genocide following the Battle of Waterberg, formally recognized by Germany only in 2021. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Herero is their primary language.

readLuke 10:34

Pray that the lost among them will experience the kind of compassion Jesus taught His followers to show others, and that they will trust in Him because He is the one who brings healing to the broken and lost.

For my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples.
readLuke 2:30

Pray that the lost will see the salvation of God, and that they will trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

The LORD bless you and keep you.
readNumbers 6:24

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will be blessed with God's grace, trusting that He will never abandon them.

And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life.”
readLuke 18:29-30

Pray that God will raise up people to go and share the gospel and help them trust His promise that anyone who has left those they treasure for the sake of the kingdom of God will receive many times more in this life and in the life to come.
