They are described as a Nilotic ethnic group of Luo peoples indigenous to the Tororo District of eastern Uganda They are an Indigenous people, with Padhola as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Jopadhola.
