The Ndendeule of Tanzania

The Ndendeule of Tanzania, numbering approximately 206,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an egalitarian, stateless Bantu people of Tanzania conquered into the 19th-century Ngoni state, adopting tobacco farming and Islam while rejecting Ngoni Christianity, their 1950s self-rule campaign feeding into Tanzania's independence movement. They mostly adhere to Animism and Ndendeule is their primary language.

Pray specifically for the Ndendeule of Tanzania

And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
readMatthew 6:7-8

Pray that those who don't have a relationship with their Creator will come to know a God who hears their every need, freeing them from empty rituals and drawing them into a real, trusting relationship with Him.

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
readActs 17:24-25

Pray that the good news will reach everyone in this people group and that many will come to know and serve the one true God who made the world and everything in it and lives today.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
readMatthew 18:20

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will be encouraged as they remember that Jesus is with them when they gather in His name.

"Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
readJohn 7:38

Ask God to raise up believers and sustain them as they cross cultures to share hope with those who need it. Pray that many might come to know Christ and that streams of living water will flow from their hearts so they will never thirst again.
