The Kalenjin of Kenya, numbering approximately 7,135,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a collective identity adopted in the 1940s by related Southern Nilotic peoples including the Kipsigis, Nandi and Pokot, with a historic homeland in Kenya's Rift Valley.
