A majority of the Rundi identify as Hutu and have traditionally engaged in farming They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Lakes people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Rundi.
