The Principense Mestico of Sao Tome and Principe, numbering approximately 9,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a mixed-heritage community of Principe Island in Sao Tome and Principe descended from Portuguese settlers and enslaved Africans, occupying a distinct intermediate stratum in the islands' colonial-era social hierarchy and speaking the Lung'Ie creole. They mostly adhere to Roman Catholicism and Portuguese is their primary language.
