The Hyam of Nigeria, numbering approximately 396,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnic group primarily located in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria—particularly in the Jaba, Kachia, and Kagarko Local Government Areas and can also be known as Zhire, Ham, Hyam. They are an Indigenous people, in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Neo-Pentecostalism. They primarily speak Hyam.
