They are an ethnolinguistic community of Niger; a dialect subgroup of Gourmanchéma (gux) They are an Diaspora people, in the Gur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Gourmanchéma.
