The Soninke of Mauritania, numbering approximately 147,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a West African Mnade-speaking ethnic group inhabiting Mali, southern Mauritania, eastern Senegal, The Gambia, and Guinea and can also be known as Silabe, Sarakole, Serahuli, Wakore, Gadyaga, Toubakai, Aswanik, Sarawule. They are an Indigenous people, in the Soninke people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Soninke.
