They are an ethnolinguistic community of Guinea and can also be known as Kokoli, Tyapi, Tiapi, Tyapi Cocoli, Cocoli, Landouman, Tyapi Cocoli, Landuma. They are an Indigenous people, in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Landoma.
