They are a Bantu-speaking ethnocultural group of central-southern Gabon, known for their deep forest-based traditions, matrilineal initiation societies, and a long history of resistance to French colonial ruleTsogo They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Tsogo.
