They are an Indigenous Central African ethnic group living primarily in eastern Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, and Cameroon. and can also be known as Kwele. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Congo people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak Bekwel.
