The Western Teke of Congo, numbering approximately 157,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a northwest Bantu ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the North Lekoumou region of the Republic of the Congo. They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Teke-Tsaayi and their primary religion is Protestantism.
