They are a people of Congo, Plateaux province: Lekana District, east of Leketi River and can also be known as Kukwa. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Teke-Kukuya.
