The Kunyi of Congo, numbering approximately 171,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Congo and can also be known as Kugni, Kikunyi. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Makua-Yao people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Kunyi.
