The Ewondo of Cameroon, numbering approximately 2,105,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Beti-Pahuin people whose name gave Cameroon's capital Yaounde its own, driven north from the Sanaga River basin by Vute and Fulbe pressure before serving as colonial trade middlemen and later resisting forced labor under German and French rule. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Ewondo is their primary language.
