The Bamenyam of Cameroon

The Bamenyam of Cameroon, numbering approximately 9,700 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Bamileke chiefdom of Cameroon's Western highlands whose broader Bamileke people trace an origin narrative to the Nile region of Sudan, migrating south and west during the seventeenth century under pressure from the Chamba and Fulani. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Bamenyam is their primary language.

Pray specifically for the Bamenyam of Cameroon

Abraham said, "God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son." So they went both of them together.
readGenesis 22:8

Pray that God will open the ears of those who are lost to understand and believe that only shed blood takes away sin and that, like Abraham, they will believe that God Himself provides the lamb for the burnt offering, who is Jesus the final, perfect sacrifice.

Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!
readPsalm 67:5

While there are many who do not yet praise God, pray that He will work in their lives, advance the gospel among them, and bring many to saving faith in Christ.

In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
readJohn 14:2-3

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will persevere in hope, remembering that Jesus went to prepare a place for them to be with Him for eternity!

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
read2 Peter 3:9

Pray that those God sends to cross cultures will patiently endure hardships as they share the gospel, knowing that the Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise.
