The Babessi of Cameroon, numbering approximately 39,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Cameroon and can also be known as Wushi, Desi, Pesii, Sii. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Cameroon-Bamileke people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Wushi.
