The Abo of Cameroon

The Abo of Cameroon, numbering approximately 24,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bantu people of Cameroon's Moungo department who trace descent from the founder Nkon, son of Lombi, whose father moved north to found the related Barombi settlements, described as skilled ironworkers producing swords and tools by an 1875 missionary. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Bankon is their primary language.
