The Mabaan of South Sudan, numbering approximately 106,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Nilotic ethnic group indigenous to Mabaan county in the Upper Nile state of South Sudan and can also be known as Maban, Tungan, Meban, Barga, Southern Burun, Maaban, Tonko, Ulu, Gura. They are an Indigenous people, in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Mabaan.
