The Kadiro of South Sudan

The Kadiro of South Sudan, numbering approximately 8,100 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are one of the five traditional dialect divisions of the Moru people in South Sudan's Western Equatoria, whose communal memory preserves accounts of nineteenth-century Azande raids and Ottoman-Egyptian slave raiders that drove them onto refuge hills near Lui. They mostly adhere to Animism and Moru is their primary language.

Pray specifically for the Kadiro of South Sudan

As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God".
readRomans 3:10-11

Pray that God will have mercy on those living in broken relationship with Him, and that He will bring many to surrender and repentance at the throne of grace.

And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.
read2 Timothy 2:2

Pray that the lost will come to faith in Christ and be discipled in the truth of the gospel, becoming faithful followers of Jesus who, in turn, make disciples themselves.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
read2 Corinthians 6:14

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ and want to marry, they will be led to other believers and enter into godly marriages.

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.
readJohn 1:9-10

Pray for those God might send to share the gospel here. Ask that they will grow closer to Jesus and be compelled to share His good news with people who don't know it.
