They are an ethnic group living between the Belati and Omo rivers in EthiopiaSoddo They are an Indigenous people, in the Omotic people cluster of the Horn of Africa Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Wolaytta.
