The Burji of Ethiopia, numbering approximately 115,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Amharic ethnic group indigenous to Ethiopia, south of Lake Chamo. They are an Indigenous people, in the Sidama people cluster of the Horn of Africa affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Eastern Orthodox. They primarily speak Burji.
