The Ruto of Chad, numbering approximately 6,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous ethnolinguistic people of the Central African Republic (CAR), living mainly in the north‑central part of the country. They are also known as Ruto. They are an Indigenous people in the Sara-Bagirmi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Luto and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
