The Mosin of Vanuatu

The Mosin of Vanuatu, numbering approximately 1,900 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Banks Islands community of southern Vanua Lava whose Vures language went undocumented in writing until a linguist compiled its first grammar and dictionary in 2021, launched together with the village community the following year. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Vurës is their primary language.
